reminiscing

Years ago, we were a young family living in Dallas with only a couple of children.

Several years and children later, we find ourselves visiting Dallas and reminiscing about the past.

The first time we were at the Las Colinas Mustangs, Joseph was a toddler.

Today, . . . 

not so much.

I thought it would be fun to introduce the mustangs to the younger crowd, but they weren't so impressed. 

When Esther saw the horses, she said "oh, they're statues." She thought we were going to see real horses.  It didn't help that it was 99 degrees and the rock tiles made it feel hotter.  Thankfully, it's somewhat of an interactive fountain.

At least Abby thought they were cool. 

Of course pool time was in order.
