Life is passing my blog by! Every time I sit down to write, I get interupted. So even though it's been couple of days since FHE (Family Home Evening), I have to show you our fun before Halloween passes us by.
Halloween isn't my favorite holiday. It's actually last on my list, but I choose the good parts of it and stick to that. One of the fun things is carving. In the past each child got a pumpkin but this year we shared the work.
We started by planning on going to a pumkin patch on someone's property, but by the time we got everyone gathered together, it was dark. I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be any lights at the private residence so we did the next best thing and went to the
"patch" at the grocery store. Great! At home the teens tried to disperse, but I told them that it was still family night so we all hung out in the kitchen while we carved.
