The adventure begins!

So, we set off  to BYU but got severely delayed because of weather.  We waited in our airport for 3 hours til we left and then what should have been a 48 minute flight, took 3 hours, ugh.  So many flights had been delayed that we were all circling the Atlanta airport waiting to land, weather permitting.  Finally we got down and all the hotels close were booked.  We found a hotel 45 minutes away, took a taxi, got 3 hours sleep, took a taxi back and finally got on a plane to Salt Lake City.

So instead of sleeping in and having a nice day college shopping, we dragged ourselves straight to the stores.  As fun as shopping is, we were all yawning.  Nonetheless, we had a nice day together.
Joey even met us and joined in the fun.

The next couple of days were filled with more shopping and orientation activities.

The first night we listened to songs, talks, and skits about the "honor code" then the kids had a "square dance" activity.  Joseph and I walked the campus til they were done.  I can't believe how much the campus has changed.  They've added some beautiful buildings and the landscaping was perfectl as usual.

My knight in shining armor!!
The next day of orientation there weren't many things for the parents to do so we hung out with Joey and went shopping (playing?).
