Sabbath picture share

Here are some things that I've been working on lately.  I bought Photoshop Elements for myself to work on family pictures and create things for my blog and for home.  It's been quite addicting!

In our home on fast Sunday, the first Sunday of the month, everyone 8 yrs old and older fast for a purpose.  The younger kids fast for 1 meal and those 12 and older fast for 2 meals.  We donate the money we would have used for those meals (and then some) to the needy.  We also use that time to pray for special needs for us or others.

Well, it's real easy to forget that it's fast Sunday.  Often someone will automatically go to the kitchen and get a drink of water without thinking.  So we usually post a note on paper in an obvious place, to remind everyone.  My original plan was to paint or stencil a nicer picture but then I got Photoshop!  

So I expanded it to also remind us what it is to keep the Sabbath Day holy.  We all need to work on it (me as much as them).

I then had the pictures printed at the Wal-mart photo center just like a family picture.  It costs a lot less than using all that printer ink at home.

You are welcome to copy them and use them for your home too.  If I did this right, you can right click and copy to your computer picture files (Sorry if they are too girly.  I have a polka dot fetish right now)

The last three pics are the questions asked on the Sabbath Day pic.  I made them separate so that I could put them in different places in the house.     Enjoy!
