Easter happenings

Just coming off of spring break vacation, we had a low key Easter.  Believe it or not the girls slept in to almost 9 am( that's unheard of, especially for a holiday).  We did the traditional baskets with candy and one gift.  Forgot to take pictures of Easter church attire (another tradition down) and Jacob gave a very nice talk in Sacrament. 


Esther was a happy girl Easter morning.

We were even too tired to have a special dinner.
 It's probably good since we ate so much on vacation.

So I tried to make our traditional Sunday pancakes fit into the holiday.
 I think they look more like bats, but the kids knew what I was going for. 



Couldn't forget to color some eggs.  We like the traditional egg soaking cups
but also like the "tie dye" kits.

  

Some of them never made it to the dye.

  It's always so interesting to see what colors we come up with.

Now back to normal life.  I'll post some of our vacation tomorrow.
