The week is finally here that we go on our pioneer trek!
After months of planning and preparing, we'll be leaving Thurs morning.
The girls and I just finished our skirts and aprons (6 skirts, 3 aprons, whew!) and
we have a pile of things that need to fit in our 5 gallon buckets that can only weigh 17 lbs.
The picture isn't true to what our experience will be--no oxen, we'll be walking and pulling handcarts.
Joseph and I will be Ma and Pa of one of the families, which has turned out to be more work than I thought it would be. But I'm really excited about how it will all turn out.
It should be a great experience.
