Photography homework--shutter speed

When you're raising a large family, you don't often have time to be creative just for yourself, just for the joy of it.  As mothers we often have to be creative in scheduling, re-purposing, cooking, saving, teaching, etc, etc.  Well, every now and then I get a yen for expanding my creative horizons.  I love the cameras Joseph gave me last year, and have wanted to get out of the "auto" mode.
So, for the last 4 weeks, I've been taking a photography class.

Below are photos experimenting with the shutter speed using water from the backyard water spout.
