It seems that ever since I had my last child, Abigail, my body doesn't seem to respond like it used to. I used to be able to control my weight fairly easy but now I struggle. So like most people at the beginning of the year, I've renewed my goal to lose the excess weight and to get healthy.
Last year I lost 14 lbs total. Unfortunately, because of sickness, being busy, and Christmas, I've gained back 5 lbs these last two months. My goal is to lose 15 lbs again but in a shorter period of time. That should put me back to pre-Abi weight.
Mom, I know you are going to say that I look fine and that 15 is too much. But remember I was that weight before Abi. I'm not aiming for pre-marriage cause that would kill me!

The reason I'm posting this is that I need some form of accountability. Sarah (my weight loss buddy/daughter) has gone back to school and it's frustrating to buddy with Joseph. He's just too good at it. We can both work really hard and he'll lose 2lbs in a day and I go nowhere. I keep falling back on the hormone excuse (or the lack thereof) but really it's because he is a "beast" when it comes to working out and food discipline. Anyway, I'll be posting every week what I've done and my progress. Maybe if it is public, then I'll think twice when I see a cookie.

methods:
- aerobic 3-4 xs week--Zumba video or class, treadmill, & other videos
- interval training: various Firm videos that alternate weights w/aerobic, eventually using TRX (I'll be seeing ya Teresa!)
food plan: eat clean, more fiber, 3 meals with small snacks if needed, lots of water
target date: June 1
