It was more than I thought.

My parents live on an acre lot with a ton of trees and all of them shed their leaves.  Over the course of the winter they all seem to migrate to  the pool area.  I could tell that the mess bothered my parents, so I thought I would take the morning to clean up the patio and pool deck.  Little did I know that it would take most of the day and my mother to help me in order for it to get done.

Dad just couldn't bear watching us do all the work.  He started skimming the pool.
He even worked in his office and on the computer today.



This is Major.  He is one of the strangest dogs.  He would follow me and
anxiously look for anything might jump out of the pile of leaves I was raking. Not at a safe distance, mind you,
but right where I was raking.  I poked him several times but he still came back.
He even seemed mesmerized by the scratch of the rake and the sun glinting off the metal.
Weird.

This is Dad and Charlie (the bird that only loves Dad.....keep your toes and fingers
in at all times)
